New court documents reveal that Woods is not going down without a fight as he and his legal team responded to Herman’s lawsuit. According to AOL, Woods’ team slammed Herman for the way that she is going about things. “Ms. Herman does nothing more than cite 9 U.S.C. §§ 401-402 and its salacious title, ‘The Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act,'” the filing reads. “She has never asserted any claims for sexual assault or sexual harassment, does not do so in this landlord-tenant action, and, if she is truthful, can never do so.”
The pro golfer and his team didn’t stop there. The same court documents refer to Herman as “a jilted ex-girlfriend who wants to publicly litigate specious claims in court, rather than honor her commitment to arbitrate disputes in a confidential arbitration proceeding.” Ouch, tell us how you really feel. As of this writing, it does not appear as though Herman and her team have replied to these allegations but we’re guessing it’s only a matter of time.
