Three players Rangers could target in NHL free agency

Vladislav Gavrikov, Left-handed defenseman

Coming off a 30-point season in Los Angeles last season, the 6-foot-3, 220-pound Gavrikov would be the big-bodied physical blueliner the Rangers have wanted.

He also logged a career-high 23:05 of ice time per game in 2024-25.

Nick Bjugstad, Center

Bjugstad is coming off a down season, in which he never quite got to his game after he was sidelined at the start following surgery last summer.

A bottom-six regular for Utah last season, Bjugstad could fill in at 3C for the Rangers.
