Police were called to a Raeburn Street in Manly West address about 2.15pm this afternoon.
Officers said it believed three men had forced entry to a house and assaulted a man.
He has been taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening wound.

One of the three men in custody also has a laceration.
Police said all of the men are known to each other.
