Over the years, major dad and I have come up with a nickname for these chicks who adopt this sort of world-weary, affected, always disgusted mien:
MISS PERPETUALLY PAINED
Dana Bash is one, Brianna Keilar yet another, and MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace is a shining example of the variety.
Where once there was an all-American, kind of attractive girl with brains and potential, there’s now a bitter, hard, shrewish harpy.
This was Nicole Wallace before Trump won in 2016. Now, she’s lifeless, shrewd and ugly.

DONALD TRUMP BROKE THE RULE OF LAW GGGGRRRRRRR
It doesn’t happen to conservative women in journalism and media that I’ve noticed.
Wallace is having herself an even worse time lately, what with Trump’s return sticking in her craw, outrage after outrage to report on and whine about daily, and truly awful revelations about the previous two Democratic administrations to avoid mentioning for as long as possible until it proves impossible.
When forced to finally cover those revelations coming from burn bags and secret rooms, having to frame it up favorably as best she can takes tremendous effort on her part.

Particularly when all this bad news is hitting uncomfortably close to home.
If Nicole’s face was perpetually sour before, she’s got the pucker from hell now. Her husband, New York Times reporter Mike Schmidt, has his name splashed all over the latest bombshell FBI document release concerning James Comey’s conduit for leaking classified info to the Times.
No wonder Nicole Wallace was looking totally miserable when she had to report the news of the Russia Hoax Conspiracy Grand Jury!

For reference, the “journalist” mentioned in the article, Michael Schmidt, is none other than Nicole Wallace’s husband. No wonder that insufferable woman lies all the time about President Trump.

Neither did anyone watching MSNBC when Mike Schmidt appeared as a guest on his wife’s show while they decried the latest Russiagate exposures and the Trump team ‘moving the ball around.’
She didn’t think to mention it either.
Nicole Wallace forgets to mention that her star guest, NYT’s Mike Schmidt, is actually her husband who is in deep trouble for publishing leaks of classified information from that sanctimonious git Comey as part of the Grand Conspiracy.

It really is neat in their world.
‘Donald Trump broke the rule of law,’ but Schmidt gets to debunk the evidence without ever acknowledging that the evidence is talking about probable felonies committed by himself and his friends.
The entire time, his spouse, Miss Perpetually Pained, the craven, mendacious, underhanded fraud, pretends she’s journalisming instead of working serious damage control, covering both their asses.
I will be so delighted to see this blow up in her pinched, sour face.
