The Vital Role Keith Morrison Took On After Stepson Matthew Perry's Death

“Dateline” correspondent Keith Morrison stepped up for the Perry-Morrison family after his stepson Matthew Perry’s death on October 28. The Blast obtained the “Friends” star’s death certificate less than three weeks after Matthew was found dead by apparent drowning in his hot tub and Keith was listed as the “informant.” As of November 8, the cause of death is deferred until the final toxicology reports are completed. According to Fox News, an initial toxicology report showed that neither meth or fentanyl was found in Matthew’s body, nor was it apparent that he had a heart attack.

Keith was seen arriving at Matthew’s house just hours after he died along with the late actor’s mom Suzanne Perry Morrison and his father John Bennett Perry, per Page Six. Matthew’s family was again seen at the “Friends” star’s funeral, which took place on November 3 in Hollywood Hills. Keith and Suzanne were spotted days before the funeral holding hands as they made the arrangements. The pair looked somber and was dressed in black.
