The Unfortunate Accident Eric Trump's Wife Lara Suffered Before Their Wedding

During an interview with Fox & Friends, Lara Trump revealed that T minus three weeks until she tied the knot to Eric Trump, she broke both wrists during a horse riding accident.

Initially, the bride-to-be was hopeful that her wrists would mend quickly and the casts could come off before her big day. “‘Wedding countdown: 2 weeks and 2 casts to go! #HopeImAFastHealer,” she penned in an optimistic Instagram post. Eventually, however, it became clear the pesky casts had finagled their way onto the guest list, after all. “It really didn’t stop the show,” she recalled. “I gave myself about three or four hours of a full pity party the day it happened. And then I said, ‘You know what, I still get to marry the love of my life. I get to marry my best friend. The show will go on. And we had a great wedding.”

But that’s not all. Trump also vowed to get back on the horse again — literally. “There are inherent risks that we all take in life. When you truly love something, it’s worth it. I wouldn’t take back one day of riding — stuff happens. I will ride again and it will be better than ever,” she declared in another post. But make no mistake — her wedding designer still had a lot of work to do to make those wrist casts work.
