The pros and ‘limitations’ Giants must weigh with aging Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson still throws one of the prettiest deep balls in the NFL.

Recapturing the other skills that once made Wilson great could be a different kind of long shot if the free agent signs with the Giants.

The 36-year-old, 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback visited the Giants facility — for the second time in as many years — so that the two sides could gauge whether a union makes sense.

“Russell Wilson is still a quarterback you can win games with,” ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky told The Post. “Obviously thousands — if not tens of thousands — of reps are banked. And he moved decently last year for a quarterback of his age. The thing is there are limitations to how good your offense can get: Hitting the deep ball has to be a focal point to think you are going to consistently be a good offense.”
