Just remember, when the inevitable hagiographic profiles of Joe Biden start rolling out from the Protection Racket Media over the next couple of weeks: This is who Joe Biden has been all along — a malignant narcissist with the thinnest possible skin. From 1987 to this moment, in fact:

Stipulated: Biden’s certainly correct on the facts, at least on this point. But so what? The reason it’s factually correct is not because of any virtue Biden possesses, but because he’s done nothing with his life other than attach himself surgically to the Beltway. Biden made sure he met lots of foreign leaders to enable the influence-peddling operation that enriched his family through the 20 LLCs or so that Biden Inc used to launder their foreign income.
Even beyond that, though, let’s recall that Biden has always been a crank and narcissist, not to mention a congenital liar. In 1987, Biden had to pull out of his first presidential bid in part because he got caught plagiarizing speeches by British Labour politician Neil Kinnock. However, Biden also got caught lying about his experience and education while berating a voter for disagreeing with him, in a tone that doesn’t different much from what we saw yesterday:
And there are plenty of other examples, too. We saw Biden’s nastiness on display at the worst possible time for Kamala Harris just two months ago, when he actually outdid Hillary Clinton in his contempt for American voters who disagree with him:

And remember this moment from February 2020? A voter asked Biden to explain his Iowa loss, and Biden responded by calling her a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier,” whatever the hell that means:
In other words, this isn’t an age-related infirmity, although Biden certainly has enough of those now. It’s been a consistent character flaw for Joe Biden since he entered the Senate. He has nothing but contempt for anyone who contradicts him or opposes his agenda, whether it’s his political or personal agenda.
He’s also twenty pounds of bull**** in a ten pound bag. Always has been, always will be.
As I mentioned earlier, we are about to get buried in an avalanche of Protection Racket Media propaganda about “Scranton Joe” and his love of The People. They will extol his supposed empathy for the Little Guy, and attempt to paint him as some kind of giant on the world stage. These videos show Biden’s true self-absorbed nature, while former Defense Secretary Robert Gates pegged Biden’s legacy a decade ago: He has been on the wrong side of almost every foreign policy question for the last 50 years.
