Melbourne has been ranked 21 on a list of the most mispronounced places in the world.
Language learning platform Preply interpreted Google data on the most common searches for how to pronounce destination names and ranked how difficult each were to say.
The Victorian capital is correctly pronounced “Mel-buhne”, but many incorrectly pronounce the R, Preply tutor Nicolette Filson said.
