But large swarms of box jellyfish are known to move along the coast.

Known as the most dangerous and venomous jellyfish in the world, the creatures can hide in plain sight as they are transparent in water.

The invertebrates are most likely to appear along the coast between October 1 to June 1, otherwise known as “stinger season”.
