Talk about a big age gap! Robert De Niro’s eldest child, Drena, is 52 years older than her newest sibling. Now, as we know, Drena was adopted by De Niro when he married his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, in 1976, per People. Drena was born in 1971 and was only 5 years old at the time the “Raging Bull” actor became her father. Drena is now 52 years old and will be celebrating her 53rd birthday in 2023, the same year her father welcomed his newest child.
De Niro dropped the shocking news while promoting his upcoming film, coincidentally called, “About My Father,” to Entertainment Tonight. The reporter told the actor, “I know you have six kids,” before De Niro interjected and revealed that he has seven. He shared, “Seven, actually. I just had a baby.” Although he didn’t name the mother of his new bundle of joy, De Niro’s reps confirmed the actor is a proud father to seven children.

It seems the latest addition might only get along with her fellow younger sibling, Helen, who is 11 years old, per ET. Raphael, 46, Aaron, 27, Julian, 27, and Elliot, 25, seem a little too old to be playing with the latest member of the De Niro family — but the “Taxi Driver” actor sure has a handful of babysitters ready to go.
