The Lakers Ended Lilo The Viral TikTok Corgi’s Winning Streak!

The L.A. Lakers ended Lilo the Ccorgi’s winning streak on Friday night.

After the viral TikTok corgi accurately predicted who would win games one through five between the Lakers and the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Western Conference semifinals, it was crunch time for the Lakers to ensure the sweet pup’s prediction for game six wouldn’t be correct (since she predicted the Warriors would win).

And the Lakers got their wish!

The NBA-loving pup, sometimes called “Steph Furry,” was on a serious winning streak, which worried some Lakers fans going into Game 6.

The video that shows the corgi getting each shot into one of the baskets labeled for the two teams was posted on May 1 and has received more than 8 million views and 12,000 comments. More NBA fans left their thoughts in the comment section with each correct prediction.

“Did the NBA give him the script😭,” one fan wrote on the video showing the pup’s prediction for the Western Conference semifinals between the Lakers and the Warriors?

After being correct for the first five games, some people dropped into the comments to talk about Game 6 and how she was wrong.

“CORGI, WHAT HAPPENED,” said one follower. Another added, “This didn’t age well. 😂”

Before the last game, the internet was filled with jokes about protecting Lilo from Lakers fans. And after the Lakers won Game 6, jokes about LeBron James changing the script started to surface.

Some of Lilo’s fans might have thought her owner was a Warriors fan based on her prediction, but that’s not true.

Denny Ku, the basketball pup’s human, posted a hilarious video a few days ago explaining what it’s like to be a Lakers fan knowing Lilo predicted the Warriors take the series. The jokes kept coming, with everyone having a funny take about who will win the game and what would happen to the pup if she was right or wrong.

“That corgi gave us anxiety 😂😂😂,” one person wrote. “So glad Corgi was wrong, but getting 5/6 predictions right is still crazy,” said another.

Lilo also has a prediction for the Philadelphia 76ers vs. Boston Celtics, which is still going on. With the series currently tied 3-3, Lilo predicts that the Sixers will take the series and advance to the next round.

“PLEASE CORGI, LET THIS BE TRUE TOMORROW,” one follower wrote about the Sixers vs. Celtics game on Saturday. Another added, “Putting my money on 76ers because of this vid.”

Lilo The Corgi Loves The Game Of Basketball!

Lilo loves basketball and equally enjoys predicting who will win certain games. There are tons of videos on TikTok and Instagram to prove it. And not only does she make her bets on NBA games, but also other sports.

Lilo also recently decided how she would celebrate hitting more than 1.3 million followers – with a pup cup from Starbucks or a 50-piece chicken McNuggets at McDonald’s. (She chose a pup cup.)

One follower thinks it’s time to introduce Lilo to an NBA player. “Get the corgi to meet an NBA player 😂,” one person wrote. And another thought maybe Lilo should be an NBA mascot saying, “If the Warriors win the series, make a petition to make him the mascot.”
