The Mornington Peninsula fell from three per cent vacancies in June to 2.3 per cent in July, a drop of 0.7 per cent.

“This decrease in vacancy rates could make it more challenging for potential renters to find suitable properties,” Suburbtrends founder Kent Lardner said.

“While the trend may not come as a shock, especially for those actively searching for a rental property, it certainly doesn’t make their task any easier.”
