Lidia Jimeno might not have been a fan of her former daughter-in-law and her family, but it’s pretty clear that when it comes to reality TV, Lidia is on board. Case in point: She’s signed on to join another.
In a TLC press release, the network revealed that Lidia would be back on screens for Season 3 of “90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise” in April 2023. According to the network, she’s set to invite a love interest — known only as Scott — to the Dominican Republic. It would mark their first IRL meeting. No word on whether Pedro and Nicole Jimeno will make an appearance, but if the matriarch’s history on “90 Day Fiancé” and “The Family Chantel” is anything to go by, then the drama seems inevitable.

As for Lidia’s previous romances, it isn’t entirely clear if she’s moved on with anybody new since splitting from Pedro and Nicole’s father. Granted, in one episode of “The Family Chantel,” Pedro’s half-siblings revealed that the matriarch had written her ex-lover a letter, something Lidia denied outright, claiming she was well over that particular relationship. “When you are done with a relationship, I’m the kind of person that will not chase after you,” she said. In fairness, we’d venture to say that walking away was a pretty good call.
