Three teenagers were rushed to hospital after being rescued from a car that plummeted off a Brisbane embankment, leaving them trapped.

Police say the Toyota Aurion came off the road and rolled down the slope, just before 7pm in Ferny Grove.

Three 17-year-old boys were inside at the time of the crash.
