Two people are in custody after an 18-year-old was killed in an alleged brawl in Melbourne last night.

A group of people allegedly began fighting on McBurnie Drive in Kurunjang just after 7pm yesterday.

Three men, aged 18, 15 and 22, were found injured when police arrived on scene.

The 18-year-old was unconscious.

Police officers tried to revive him, but he was declared dead at the scene.

The 15-year-old and 22-year-old were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

They are now under police guard in hospital. 

Investigators believe the people involved in the alleged brawl were known to each other.

Detectives are still trying to piece together the circumstances surrounding the death.
