Mayar Bashir, 14, was last seen on Jacob Street, in Bankstown, at about 7.30pm on Tuesday

A 14-year-old girl has vanished without a trace from Sydney’s southwest overnight. 

Mayar Bashir, 14, was last seen on Jacob Street, in Bankstown, at about 7.30pm on Tuesday. 

Her concerned family reported her missing to police after they were unable to locate or contact her. 

Police and her family hold concerns about Mayar’s welfare. 

Mayar is described as being of Middle Eastern / Mediterranean appearance, about 140cm tall, of slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing black pants, black shirt and white shoes.

She is known to frequent the Bankstown area.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Mt Druitt Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
