A teenage girl is in a critical condition following a boat crash in Sydney’s south this morning.

NSW Police say two tinnies hit each other near the Grays Point boat ramp, which is about 30km south of the Sydney CBD.

A 16-year-old girl was hospitalised with critical injuries following the crash, while two 16-year-old boys were also taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

“A teenage girl has been injured after two boats collided at Grays Point this morning,” police said in a statement.

“Emergency services were called to Grays Point boat ramp shortly after 10.15am today and found two tinnies had collided.

“A 16-year-old girl was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to St George Hospital in a critical condition.

“Two teenage boys – both aged 16 – were also taken to St George Hospital for mandatory testing.”

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
