A teenage boy missing from the NSW Central Coast has been found safe and well.

Police, along with the 14-year-old’s mother and former NRL star father, made a public appeal to help find him yesterday.

About 2.30am today, police announced the boy, who was believed to be heading to Penrith in western Sydney on the train, had been found safe and well.
