At about 6.40pm on Saturday, emergency services were called to the event campsite.
They found a 22-year-old with significant facial burns.
He remained in a serious condition on Monday night after being airlifted across the border to Victoria’s Alfred Hospital.
It’s believed he was set on fire by a man attempting to ignite an aerosol nearby.

An 18-year-old man arrived at Wagga Wagga police station about 6pm on Monday, following a police appeal.
He was charged with do grievous bodily harm by the use of corrosive fluid, reckless grievous bodily harm, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The teen was granted bail to front Deniliquin Local Court on November 15.
