A teenage boy will front court today after an alleged police pursuit through Sydney last night.

The 17-year-old driver allegedly did not stop for police after officers tried to pull his Toyota C-HR over on Syd Einfeld Drive in Bondi Junction, at 4pm yesterday.

Police alleged the teenager was speeding.

A pursuit allegedly ensued, but it was called off due to safety concerns.

Officers were called to Darlinghurst Road, Darlinghurst a short time later, where the Toyota had allegedly collided with three other vehicles.

Police arrested the teenage driver on Oxford Street after he allegedly fled the scene.

He has been charged with 11 offences, including police pursuit, custody of a knife in public, driving with a suspended licence, and other driving offences.

He was refused bail and will appear in Paramatta Children’s Court today.
