A teenage boy has been placed in an induced coma after he was allegedly stabbed during a brawl in south-east Perth.

The alleged fight is believed to have broken out between a group of six children on Ravenscroft Way near Regina Drive in Kelmscott about 3pm yesterday.

Police said a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the stomach and is currently at Royal Perth Hospital.

“His spleen has been removed and he will require further surgery and he remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital,” police said.

Police said two kids allegedly armed with knives were last seen running towards Westfield Road.

Police have released images of two people they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

One boy is described as light skinned with short brown hair and wearing a black t-shirt with a white motif, black shorts and white shoes.

The second is also light skinned with a moustache and was wearing black jacket, black pants with a white stripe, black shoes and a black cap.

Police urge anyone who saw the alleged incident, has information or has CCTV, dash-cam or mobile vision of the area taken between 2.25pm and 3.30pm to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
