Taylor Ann Green Tells ‘WWHL’ That She Reconnected With Olivia Flowers Following ‘Southern Charm’ Feud: “She Was Checking In On Me”

Taylor Ann Green is updating Southern Charm fans on her friendship with former BFF Olivia Flowers.

Green joined Andy Cohen in the Bravo Clubhouse for Thursday night’s (Jan. 23) episode of Watch What Happens Live, during which a virtual fan asked if she and Flowers had spoken since their falling out in Southern Charm Season 9.

“We actually have reconnected,” Green revealed. “She reached out to me when we first started filming, so it was very good to hear from her. She was checking in on me.”

“I’m glad that we were able to [talk],” she added. “I wish that you guys could see it, but, you know.”

Bravo did not renew Flowers’ contract for Season 10, though she appears as happy as ever as she’s now engaged to her Dallas-based boyfriend Alex Williams.

“I’m very very happy for Olivia and where she’s going in life right now,” Green said, though noted that she hasn’t seen Flowers in person nor has she met her fiancé. “She’s kind of in and out [of Charleston].”

The news of their chat may come as a surprise to Bravo fans, seeing as their friendship seemed over for good by the end of the Season 9 reunion. The drama between the once-close friends started when Green lied about kissing Austen Kroll, who was Flowers’ former situationship.

It was also a difficult season for Flowers in other respects, as she had lost her brother to an accidental overdose mid-way through filming.

While Flowers was front and center of Season 9, she revealed on Scheana Shay‘s Scheananigans podcast back in July that she had not been asked back to the Bravo series. The network allegedly told her the decision was made because she was spending more time in Dallas with her then-boyfriend than she was in Charleston where the show is filmed.

“It wasn’t my choice. I was a little thrown off by it, especially with how the last season went,” Flowers admitted at the time. “I feel like I really gave everything I could, given the circumstance, so I was definitely disappointed.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
