A high-profile Sydney massage therapist has been ordered not to practice after he allegedly raped a client in the city’s east.
Steven Goldberg fronted Waverley Local Court after he was arrested at his Dover Heights home yesterday.
He faces charges of sexual intercourse without consent and sexually touching another person without consent.
The 67-year-old is accused of allegedly raping a 33-year-old woman during a massage at his clinic in Dover Heights.
A magistrate granted Goldberg bail on Tuesday on strict conditions including a ban on giving massages or any similar service.

Goldberg’s website says he offers “quality physical massage” from a “highly trained experienced therapist”.
He is well-known for his work and has high-profile clients.
Goldberg will return to court in January.
