“I’m just gobsmacked. I just can’t believe it,” the woman said on the phone, according to The Lott.

“I was just nodding off, falling asleep when you rang.

“I generally play Powerball, but I thought I’d give Oz Lotto a chance.

“In our dreams we’ve thought about what we’d do with a big win, but you never think it’s going to come true.

The man said he’d still wake up and go to work, before laying on the charm.

“This is going to give us some time. It buys us time to be able to do the things we want to do. And help the people in your life that have helped you and you want to help them back,” he said.

“I always say that I’ve already won the lottery because I live in Australia, I’m healthy and I met my beautiful wife.”

The woman told lottery officials she bought the winning 18-game QuickPick from Kenthurst Cellars in Kenthurst.
