Huge traffic snarl on the Sydney Harbour Bridge after multi-car crash nearby – causing chaos for commuters

  • It’s understood two people are trapped inside vehicles after three cars crashed 

A multi-vehicle crash caused extensive traffic delays northbound on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

It’s understood two people were trapped inside vehicles after three cars crashed on the Warringah Freeway in North Sydney on Wednesday morning.

The crash site has since been cleared by fire and rescue crews at the scene.

All northbound lanes have reopened on the Warringah Freeway at Milsons Point.

Three out of four lanes had been closed near the Pacific Highway ramp, creating major delays. 

Images emerged of long queues of traffic heading north through the Harbour Bridge. 

Traffic has since returned to normal levels.
