A 47-year-old man was fatally stabbed by an unknown suspect inside a Harlem apartment Sunday afternoon, according to police.
The victim was knifed multiple times around 12:20 p.m. in an apartment near East 132nd Street and Madison Avenue, authorities said.
The victim was rushed to Harlem Hospital where he died of his wounds, cops said.
The suspect fled from the building and has not been arrested.
He was described as a male roughly 50 years old. He was last seen wearing dark-colored clothing.
It was not immediately clear if the victim and suspect knew each other or what their relationship was, police said.
The victim’s identity was not released Sunday evening pending family notification.
Cops couldn’t say if the victim had been killed in his own home, but a handful of people were grieving outside 58 East 132nd Street Sunday afternoon with investigators on the scene.
