A Brooklyn man was caught on surveillance video robbing an 82-year-old woman — and was then nabbed a day later when he tried to rob another victim a block away, cops said.
Timothy Thompson, 42, approached the elderly woman at the corner of Miller and New Lots avenues in East New York around 6 a.m. Sunday and grabbed an unspecified amount of cash, police said.
Video shows the senior standing on the sidewalk, extending her hand holding at least one bill.
He yanked the cash from her hand but appeared to try to go for her pocketbook as well, sparking a struggle, footage released by the NYPD shows.
As the crook ran off, the octogenarian stumbled and fell to the pavement, the clip shows.
She was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition.

A day later, Thompson tried to rob a 39-year-old woman at Hendrix Street and New Lots Avenue, a block from the first scene, authorities said.
He was arrested by patrol officers a short time later and charged with attempted robbery, cops said.
Investigators connected the dots and determined he was also linked to the robbery of the elderly woman a day earlier, police said.
He was charged with robbery and assault in connection to that incident, authorities said.
Thompson has two prior unsealed arrests – one for robbery in 2005 and another for criminal possession of stolen property in 2000, cops said.
