In sanctuary cities, illegal aliens can attack federal agents, and the local police will let them go. 

If that sounds like an exaggeration, I give you a case in point:





Of course, this shouldn’t really surprise me, because it is just a small part of a larger pattern in which liberals have different rules for people they like and those they hate. Rioters get the same privilege–immunity from consequences–as illegal aliens. 

Not only did very few of the violent rioters get punished after the George Floyd riots, but cities started handing out millions of dollars to people who participated in those riots in settlements for “police brutality.” Hundreds of police officers were injured by these people, and the cities decided to pay them for doing so. 

Is it any wonder that recruitment for police officers in Blue cities is struggling? 

Think of Washington, D.C., and how the left is going insane because Donald Trump is cleaning up the city. Trump is deploying approximately 1,000 National Guard troops to the city, which is not coincidentally the number of police officers who are supposed to fill empty slots on the roster. If DC were just able to hire for all its authorized and budgeted positions, the National Guard troops wouldn’t be necessary. 





What does it say about Democrats that they can’t even recruit people to keep their cities safe? Nothing good. 

We are well past the point where anybody can seriously argue that liberals and conservatives have similar goals and just differ on the best way to achieve them. When faced with a choice between a criminal and a law-abiding citizen, liberals seem to always choose to support the latter. 

Imagine if, in San Bernardino, a federal agent had aimed his car at and struck two illegal aliens. The city would erupt in violence, every politician would be expressing outrage, huge settlements would be given to the illegals, and there would be riots in every Democrat-run city. 

But the illegal alien injuring two ICE officers?  The City Fathers protect the illegal alien. 

It’s enraging.
