A 34-year-old straphanger was shot and killed while riding a subway train in Brooklyn Sunday night, police said.
The man was shot twice – in the back and shoulder – aboard a Manhattan-bound 3 train before police officers reached him at the Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College Station in Crown Heights around 8:15 p.m., authorities said.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital and succumbed to injuries at 9:05 p.m., the NYPD said.
It’s unclear what led up to the fatal shooting.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrest has been made.
