Three teenagers have been arrested after allegedly stealing luxury cars and taking them on a joyride across Queensland’s south-east.

Video of the teens allegedly shows them bragging about their crime spree, with one of the youths heard saying, “this car’s a f—ing weapon mate”.

Police said two luxury vehicles were targeted.

The first was a V8 Land Cruiser Series 300 worth $200,000, which was taken from Bridgeman Downs.

A brand new $500,000 Bentley Bentayga was also taken.

The owner told 9News he was in bed asleep when the keys were stolen from his bedside table.

Queensland Police tracked the vehicles throughout the morning, even trying to spike the Land Cruiser’s tyres at Taringa.

The joyride finally came to an end in Everton Hills when the alleged perpetrators drove into a shopping centre and were cornered by police.

Three teenagers were taken into custody while the stolen cars were recovered.

Politicians claim the spate of youth crime is far from over.

“We have a generation of repeat youth offenders who know their way around the law and they are laughing, putting things on social media, they know there are no consequences for their behaviour,” Opposition Leader David Crisafulli said.
