St. John’s overwhelms Marquette in second half to roll into Big East championship game

St. John’s magical ride is going to continue into the Big East Tournament title game.

Down by two at the half, the Red Storm completely overpowered Marquette in the second half to clinch a spot in the conference tournament final with a 79-63 win.

Four players finished in double figures, but it was Zuby Ejiofor who led the way a 33-point, nine-rebound effort.

They will play the winner of Creighton-UConn on Saturday night.
