10. Buzludzha, Bulgaria
The Buzludzha Monument in central Bulgaria has been ranked the world’s 10th most famous abandoned buildings globally by unoccupied property insurance provider Alan Boswell Group.
The site, constructed in 1981, was used by the Bulgarian communist government.
The giant monument was used until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1989.
This building received more than 18,000 tags on Instagram annually.
