A second body has been located after two fishermen were reported missing in the Snowy Mountains earlier this week.

NSW Police were called to Lake Eucumbene, northwest of Cooma at around 11.15pm on Wednesday following reports two men were missing.

The men, both aged 73, had gone on a fishing trip near Adaminaby, but when they failed to return home that night, their concerned families raised the alarm.
