Never have we ever seen Mindy Kaling look this mesmerizing.
The Hollywood multihyphenate swapped her white-hot Vera Wang number from Sunday’s Oscars 2023 red carpet for a slinky metallic sequined number that mimicked the look of chainmail at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party later in the night.
Kaling – who has reportedly lost more than 40 pounds over the past few years by changing her diet and exercise routine — looked svelte in the plunging number as she posed for photographers.
The “Never Have I Ever” creator, 43, also switched up her hairdo for the star-studded soirée, trading her half-up, half-down ‘do from the ceremony for a sleek, straight asymmetrical bob.
While most people applauded Kaling’s glamorous afterparty attire — calling her look “gorgeous,” “flawless” and “spectacular” on Twitter — others were concerned to see her looking so slim, with several wondering if she might have used the diabetes drug Ozempic to do so.
“And the Oscar goes to Ozempic for a standout performance across all categories,” one joked, while another added, “Man, those Ozempic parties have really paid off.”
Wrote a third, more disappointed fan, “Adele. Lauren Ash. Mindy Kaling. Rebel Wilson. All former ‘body positivity,’ ‘love yourself,’ ‘size doesn’t matter’ people who went and lost the weight doing things like ‘eliminating stress’ and ‘eating what I want.’ No wonder us normals are so f–ked up about weight.”

Indeed, the “Mindy Project” alum has said she didn’t starve herself to drop those pounds.
“I eat what I like to eat. If I do any kind of restrictive diet, it never really works for me. I just eat less of it,” Kaling told “Entertainment Tonight” in 2022.
“I wish there was something more juicy or dynamic about the way that I’ve lost a little bit of weight, but that’s the way I’ve done it.”
Kaling decided to lose weight after welcoming her second child in September 2020.
