Shooting leaves one dead at historically bloody West Indian Day Festival Parade in NYC

A 25-year-old man who was shot at the West Indian Day Parade in Brooklyn Monday has died, law enforcement sources said.

The victim, who was struck in the abdomen, was pronounced dead Monday evening after when a lone gunman opened fire on him and four others along the afternoon parade route at the 300 block of Eastern Parkway, sources told The Post Monday.

The other four victims remain in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.

The youngest victim – a 16-year-old boy – was shot in the left arm.

Police are investigating the incident as potentially gang-related.

There have been no arrests.
