Shocking footage emerges of a groups of teens allegedly threatening two boys with a MACHETE in a McDonald’s toilet

Horrifying CCTV footage has captured the moment a group of teenagers allegedly assaulted and threatened two boys in a McDonald’s bathroom.

Victoria Police said up to five youths were allegedly involved in the incident on Monday at about 4pm in the toilet of the fast food joint on Dohertys Road, Truganina, in western Melbourne.

One of the teens was allegedly carrying a machete during the terrifying confrontation, with footage showing the boy appearing to hold the weapon against the neck of one of the alleged victims.

During the interaction, the alleged victim could be seen sinking to the floor. 

The teen allegedly holding the machete appeared to tap them on the chest with the weapon while making threats.

Another alleged victim appeared to be thrown to the floor before he was punched twice by a member of the group.

Police said the two alleged victims, who were both aged 15 and from the Wyndham area, were not injured.

Two boys, of the same age and also from the Wyndham area, were arrested on Wednesday.

One of them was charged with aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle, false imprisonment, produce child abuse material, assault with a weapon and possessing a controlled weapon.

He was bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.

A second boy is expected to be charged on summons.

Two other boys, also aged 15 and from the Wyndham area, were arrested on Thursday and were issued cautions.

The confrontation occurred the same day Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan held a snap press conference to announce a machete ban would be fast-tracked.

The laws banning the sale of machetes were meant to be enforced on September 1, but came into effect on Wednesday.

‘Those knives are dangerous weapons,’ Premier Allan said on Monday.

‘They have no place on our streets anywhere and that is why I will introduce as many laws to get these dangerous knives off the streets.’

In CCTV footage, a second victim could be seen thrown to the floor of the toilet

The Victorian Premier’s announcement followed a separate machete attack in a north Melbourne shopping centre on Sunday. 

Two boys, aged 15 and 16, were charged over the brawl at Northland Shopping Centre. 

The week before, on May 21, a young family in the bayside area was forced to hide in a bedroom as two masked teens wielding a machete ransacked their home.
