The bus had been returning from the wedding reception of Mitchell Gaffney and Maddy Edsell at the nearby Wandin Estate winery, when it overturned at a roundabout near Greta.

Among those unaccounted for are Bec Mullen, and mum and daughter Nadene and Kyah McBride.

Police have notified the next of kin of those they’ve identified as best they can.

The community, meanwhile, continues to mourn, with a number of locals caught up in the tragedy.

Many guests at the wedding were believed to be members of the Singleton Roosters Australian Rules football team.

Guests at the wedding also included players from Warrandyte Cricket Club in Melbourne, where Gaffney used to play.
