The Rare Beauty founder proved that she really isn’t available for the mean talks. Instead, she’s available for a hot date! She uploaded a short clip of herself on Instagram getting ready for the date. The sensational video began with the singer flaunting her natural beauty.
Her dark hair was styled in a center part, and she added a gold hoop earring to her natural look. Gomez started the makeup process in the GRWM clip by applying foundation to her natural face as she beamed. She then expressed that she was so excited about the video and it was really fun.
At the end of the brief footage, Gomez’s face retained its natural beauty. However, her lips spotted a bold red lipstick. As for her hot date, the “Back to you” singer playfully declared, “I think that’s it! I have a hot date with some Ramen noodles and a good movie.”
Not surprisingly, the post gained attention from fans within minutes. Several fans showered the ”Wizards of Waverly Place” star with love while defending her from Jenner and Bieber’s actions. A follower commented, “You’re one of a kind Selena! Please be strong and don’t pay attention to trivialities. I trust you and would support you forever.”

For those who aren’t aware of what went down between the famous women, it apparently started at the beginning of this year, when Gomez faced body-shaming talks from critics about gaining weight.
Per reports, shortly after, the wife of Justin Bieber shared a TikTok of herself, Kendall Jenner, and Justine Skye lip-syncing to audio that said, “I’m not saying she deserves it, but I’m saying God’s timing is always right.” Many Tiktok users opined that the group of friends was shading Gomez.
TikToker Rivet Soro, who reposted the clip last month, told viewers she was trying to determine if the video had an underlying intent to mock the 30-year-old singer. Afterward, users shared screenshots showing that Gomez commented on the video. Her comment read, “It’s okay! I don’t let these things get me down! Be nice to everyone!”
It was believed everything had died down until a few days ago when the “Spring Breakers” actress posted playful pictures and videos of herself, joking with fans that she had “accidentally laminated my brows too much.”
Within minutes, Kylie posted two cryptic photos to her Instagram story that fans believe were aimed at Gomez. The first image was a selfie with a caption that read “This was an accident?????” written in text placed over her brows. The next pic was a screenshot of a FaceTime call with Hailey and the both of them zoomed in on their eyebrows.
This made TikTok users frenzy as several described Hailey and Jennner’s actions as “mean girl” and “childish” behavior. “It’s not a coincidence anymore,” a top commenter wrote on a viral TikTok recapping the ordeal.
While several TikTok pages carried the news, Kylie commented on a specific page that called her out for “shading Selena Gomez.”
“This is reaching,” Kylie wrote. “No shade towards Selena ever, and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! You guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.” To which Gomez replied, “Agreed @kyliejenner. It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!”
Amidst the drama, Gomez announced in a TikTok Live that she needed a break from the media. She said, “I’m gonna be taking a second from social media ’cause it’s… this is a little silly. I’m 30. I’m too old for this.”
