Queensland Police are appealing for information about the whereabouts of an 18-year-old who went missing from Logan Reserve on Sunday, March 9.

The teenager, named Caleb, was last seen at a property on Burdekin Road around 11 pm, less than 48 hours after ex-cyclone Alfred swept through the region.

He has not been seen or heard from since.

Caleb is Caucasian in appearance, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing camouflage pattern shorts, no shirt, and no shoes.

Caleb has a medical condition and police and carers are concerned for his welfare.

A search and rescue operation is currently underway in Logan.

Multiple weather warnings are currently in effect in Logan in the wake of ex-cyclone Alfred, including two dangerous flood warnings issued early on Monday morning.

Logan has also recorded almost 100 power outages due to damage from the ex-tropical cyclone.

Police are urging anyone with information about Caleb’s whereabouts to call Policelink on 131 444 and quote the reference number QP2500415222.
