A search is underway for two people after a pet American staffy named Poppy was stolen from a home in Perth’s outer suburbs.

Today, police released vision of a silver Toyota hatchback pulling up to a home on Gloucester Street in Shoalwater on June 30.

Two people are seen getting out of the car and walking up the driveway.

The pair stole Poppy, a black-and-white female American staff with a maple leaf marking on her chest, from the home.

Police are continuing to investigate the theft and have urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
