A school bus has veered off a road and crashed into a tree north of Melbourne this afternoon.

Assumption College, a year 7 to 12 school, in Kilmore has taken to social media to confirm its bus to Wandong has been involved in an accident.

“All students on the bus are fine and emergency services are in attendance,” the school said.

“There are college staff also present at the scene.” 

Paramedics were called to the collision around 3.45pm.

“Ambulance Victoria has dispatched significant resources to the scene, including two ambulance helicopters and 10 on-road resources,” an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.

“This incident is still ongoing.”
