A cashed-up Sydney influencer has repurchased her stolen $650 Prada sunglasses after she filed a police report in an effort to recover them.

Sarah Stevenson, known as Sarah’s Day online, had her designer accessory stolen from the Cronulla Post Office earlier this month, with the thief caught on CCTV.

Stevenson was slammed online for complaining about her ‘first world problem’ and wasting important police time when she filed the report about the theft.

On Tuesday, she complained she was forced to buy the expensive sunglasses again after police failed to find the culprit.

‘I unfortunately had to repurchase, but luckily they were 30% off so I could justify it a little bit more,’ she said as she sat in her car wearing the glasses before a Pilates class.

‘I will do a full update, but unfortunately no, I didn’t get my original sunglasses back. These are the repurchase.’

Stevenson drew the ire of her followers earlier this month when she first posted about filing her police report.

‘Is she okay in the head? Like I get it but it’s giving, “Kim there’s people that are dying,”” one person wrote, referencing an iconic Kardashian meme.

‘Quite literally as well with what’s happening in the world. This didn’t need to be a video but I guess she’s a content queen.’

Another wrote: ‘Is this chick for real? Why would you wear a pair of $650 Prada sunglasses to the post office?

‘I have the same pair of sunnies and I only wear them to occasions like lunch/drinks! No way I would use them for every day use for this exact reason.’

A third added: ‘Is she ok?! Police have actual crimes to solve and this halfwit thinks this deserves their full attention! Have another rail and go away!’

Despite the negative criticism online, Sarah was devastated to have lost her expensive sunglasses, explaining she just put them down for a few moments.

In her lengthy TikTok video, she said she was struggling to manage her disgruntled 20-month-old son Malakai while juggling the huge package she wanted to post.

‘I go to that little table where you put your stuff down to fill [the package] out,’ Sarah explained.

She continued: ‘I get my sunglasses off my head because they’re gonna fall and I put them beside me. I fill it out, do what I need to do and I give the lady the box.’

A thief took advantage of Sarah’s flustered state and slipped the designer sunglasses into her purse while the influencer wasn’t looking.

After Sarah released the TikTok video explaining the entire incident online, she also uploaded a separate video of herself walking into her local police station.
