Police have renewed an urgent plea for information about the disappearance of a teenage girl from a beachside suburb six months ago.

The 15-year-old girl was last seen by family at an apartment complex on Fourth Avenue in Sandgate, in Brisbane’s north, on February 23.

Her last online activity was in June.

Police and her family hold serious concerns for the teenager’s welfare and say her disappearance is out of character.

The 15-year-old is described as Aboriginal, approximately 165cm tall with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes.

She is known to frequent areas in Logan including Kingston and Woodridge.

However, police are unsure if she still remains in Queensland.

The girl or anyone who has information about her whereabouts has been urged to make contact with police immediately.
