Safaree Shuts Down Howard Stern’s Rihanna Slander And Fans Approve!

Safaree does not care for Howard Stern‘s criticism of Rihanna‘s Super Bowl performance!

Although the halftime show was a comeback of sorts for the singer, who has not performed on a public stage in several years, it disappointed Stern. The radio host promptly aired his comments, accusing Rihanna of lip-syncing for most of her performance. The sentiment upset Safaree, who took to social media to slam Stern, eliciting a rousing response from fans.

Safaree Has Asked Howard Stern To Keep Rihanna’s Name Out Of His Mouth

While Safaree — full name Safaree Lloyd Samuels — has often made headlines for his dramatic and less-than-ideal love life, he is making the news for a different reason today. The rapper warmed the hearts of multiple Rihanna Navy members when he came to her defense on Wednesday.

Safaree had taken to Twitter to express his irritation at Stern’s critique of the “Where Have You Been?” singer’s Apple Super Bowl Halftime Show, tweeting:

“No Rihanna slander will be tolerated by these white outlets… F**K YALL. Howard stern this isn’t 1995 no 1 gives a f**k about ya opinion. Go get a nose job wit ya fake a** wanna be afro then go suck yuh mummma.”

Taking to the replies, one Rihanna stan agreed and wrote, “We take white artist with no talent all day long and we be singing along..plus they make more money than black artist which we know has more talent than them.. No rihanna slander will be tolerated.”

A second person approved “this message” before asking “them relics” to “stay in 1995,” and a third added, “And that’s all there is to be said.” “Talk that sh*t ….. I stand with you ✊🏽,” a fourth fan chimed, while a fifth that was impressed by Safaree’s tweet admitted, “I’ve always liked you!”

A sixth Twitter user wrote, “I have been waiting for someone from the Caribbean to say something like this fire 🔥 🔥 suck yuh mumma. Leave Rihanna alone !” and a seventh simply shared a gif of Snoop Dogg nodding his head.

In case you missed it, The Blast reported that Stern had spoken on Rihanna’s performance during Monday’s episode of “The Howard Stern Show” when he stated:

“You know, I don’t even know why she bothered showing up. I could be wrong, but I — in my opinion, 85 percent of that performance was lip sync.”

After his co-host, Robin Quivers expressed that she was unsure if the “Diamonds” singer actually sang, the 69-year-old pointed out the one part of the production which might have given her away, which was when she placed the mic around her knees.

Stern noted that even though her lips were not visibly moving at that point, “the other voices are going.” It also did not help that the noticeably pregnant Rihanna belted some of her tunes suspended in the air during the 13-minute set.

If anything, the fact that she is pregnant was a talking point for the father-of-three, who added, “I had a theory, Rihanna was not lip-syncing, but she put the microphone near her vagi*na so the new baby could sing.”

The Grammy Awards Winner Breaks Super Bowl Record With Her Halftime Show

Despite the negative feedback, Rihanna made history when she climbed the Super Bowl LVII stage on February 12. Her presence drew an average of 118.7 million viewers, which was 5.7 million more than the 113 million that tuned in to watch the actual playoffs.

Per The Blast, the numbers translated to the businesswoman bringing in a 15% increment from the average of 103.4 million people that watched last year’s halftime show which featured Dr. Dre.

The ratings also made Rihanna’s return to the big stage the second most-watched Super Bowl halftime performance and the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show since Katy Perry’s 2015 record of 114.4 million viewers.

The expectant mom thrilled the crowd with multiple singles, including “B**ch Better Have My Money,” “Rude Boy,” “Only Girl in the World,” “We Found Love,” “Where Have You Been?” “Work,” “Wild Thoughts,” “All of the Lights,” “Run This Town,” “Pour It Up,” and “Umbrella.”

The mother-of-one finished with her 2012 hit tune, “Diamonds,” adding a red custom-made Alaïa coat to the matching custom-made Loewe jumpsuit, which was partly unzipped to highlight the shiny breastplate, bodysuit, and baby bump beneath.
