Police were called after the woman stopped her car in the middle of Golden Grove Road in Adelaide about 7pm yesterday.

Police allege the 45-year-old recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.339.

The legal limit in South Australia is 0.05 per cent.

Her licence was suspended and her car towed away last night.

Her car will be impounded for one month.
