The rock smashed through a car’s windscreen as the car was travelling under a rail bridge on the Surf Coast Highway in Grovedale yesterday.
“Officers were called to reports a car had been struck by an object causing its window to crack about 11.30pm,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
Both the driver of the vehicle and police are calling on anyone with dashcam or information to come forward.
