Bindi and Robert Irwin are remembering their late father, Steve, on what would have been his 61st birthday with loving tributes on Instagram.

“Happy Birthday, Dad. Thank you for instilling a love for all species, courage to follow my heart and determination to make a difference in the world for wildlife and wild places,” Bindi, 24, began her sweet caption. “Your legacy lives on and the world is forever changed because of your dedication to conservation. Mum, Robert and I love and miss you so much.”
More than 1,000 people took to the comment section to leave messages of love and support, and let Bindi know that her father is missed by many.
“Happy Birthday Steve ❤️ he is the reason I love animals oh so much and pursued a degree in biology,” one person wrote.

Robert, 19, also shared a loving tribute to his father on his birthday with a simple caption, “Happy birthday, Dad ❤️”
Bindi commented on the adorable photo, “So much love ❤️.” One fan commented, “The world misses your father Robert. He did amazing work. I know he’s looking down with the biggest smile saying ‘look at my kids!!’”

Bindi And Robert Celebrate Their Dad’s Life Often On Social Media
The siblings often share photos and tributes to their late dad, The Crocodile Hunter. Along with their mom Terri and Bindi’s husband Chandler, the family works hard to keep Steve’s legacy and missions alive and well.
And for Bindi and Chandler’s daughter Grace, 2, they make sure to include “Grandpa Crocodile” in her daily life.
“On every zoo walk she searches for pictures of her grandparents and it is beyond beautiful,” Bindi wrote in the caption of the sweet video of Grace looking at a photo of her grandparents.
