Even Jake Paul himself is a fan of Sydney Thomas.
Thomas went viral as a ring girl during Paul’s fight against Mike Tyson last month at AT&T Stadium, which was streamed live on Netflix.
She recently revealed what Paul told her during the bout.
“I talked to him at the fight and he was just like, ‘Keep doing your thing,’” Thomas told People.
She also said Paul told her she was “doing a great job.”
Paul ended up beating Tyson by unanimous decision.
She previously spoke out about the newfound attention.
“I woke up to an overwhelming amount of love and support from all of you,” Thomas wrote in an Instagram story. “I can’t thank you guys enough or begin to express how grateful I am. I love you all — thank you for your kind words.”
Netflix announced that 60 million users tuned in to the bout.
Thomas told People that she will continue to work with Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions for future fights.
“Getting the opportunity to step into the ring with @MikeTyson and @JakePaul for such a historic fight is something I never imagined I’d be able to say,” Thomas captioned a separate post. “Words can’t describe this moment or how grateful I am to be part of such an amazing team at @MostValuablePromotions.
“History was made, and I’m truly honored to have been a part of it.”
