Shannon Sharpe’s interview with Brittany Renner had Rick Fox feeling some type of way.
The former three-time NBA champion tried to shoot his shot with Renner, who is an influencer and internet personality, after she said she “had sex with 35 guys” during a recent appearance on Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast.
Fox, 54, took to X on Thursday and reposted the viral clip from the “Club Shay Shay,” and seemingly suggested that he wants to add his name to the list.
“Hey @ShannonSharpe so many questions When she says ‘BLACK’ where do you think she draws the line?” Fox wrote, referring to Renner saying she sees herself settling down with “a Black man.”
“I’m just asking for all the one-drop brothers and sisters out there who are aspiring to be #36 – #50,” Fox added.
Renner has yet to respond.
Renner was an “open book” on Sharpe’s podcast while discussing her love life, her past, what she’s looking for in a man and more.
“My dating pool is impressive,” Renner, 31, said, to which Sharpe asked, “expansive?”
“I’ve had sex with 35 guys,” she said.
That’s when Sharpe took a shot of his Le Portier Shay V.S.O.P. cognac.
“Oh Lord!” he said before chugging from the bottle.

Sharpe then asked why Renner felt the need to share that information with the public.
“Probably for the same reason I wrote a book, because I feel called to share,” Renner said. “There are some things moving forward that I probably would keep to myself — I mean I just told you I had sex with 35 guys, and updated number for people who have been following the number for years now.”
Renner told Sharpe that she keeps a list in her phone, which includes, “11 athletes, five entertainers and eight regular guys.”
Elsewhere during the conversation, Renner explained that she’s focused on building her brand and isn’t only accepting those who are serious suitors.
“I’m not looking for love, I’m prepared for love,” she said.
Renner — whose messy split with Hornets forward P.J. Washington made headlines in 2022 —explained that she doesn’t see herself dating another athlete in the future.
Renner is believed to be currently single.
She stirred buzz on social media in June while out to dinner with Shaquille O’Neal, Fox’s former Lakers teammate, at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
The outing was platonic, according to TMZ, which reported at the time that the NBA Hall of Famer, 51, and internet personality’s night out was “nothing more than two friends catching up.”
Renner and Washington, who began dating sometime in 2020, share a young son, Paul Jermaine Washington III, born in May 2021.
Renner congratulated Washington on his engagement to fellow influencer Alisah Chanel in September 2022.
